Muscatatuck Chapter
The Muscatatuck Chapter #552 is located in Seymour Indiana. The Chapter was formed back in September 14, 1993 by the late Michael "Mick" B. Hauer and several conservation minded Sportsman with a vision and emphasis towards a common mission. Our main objective is to promote QU's conservation and land management programs. We place strong emphasis towards habitat work to benefit the Bobwhite quail as well as all species of wildlife.
The Chapter's main focus area is the seven county core of Jackson, Jennings, Scott, Washington, Lawrence, Brown and Bartholomew counties in Indiana. However we reach beyond those boundaries whenever possible and work with private landowners. Together, we plan conservation projects, discuss habitat priorities, and network with other Sportsmen, Sportswomen, QU chapters and conservation organizations.
Our main fund raising event is an Annual Banquet held in Seymour, usually in the spring.
If you are a Conservation minded person or group (whether you Hunt or not, it doesn't matter) this is your chance to be involved with a local organization that has National backing and support.
We get to see our dollars and efforts blossom into better wildlife habitat and more enjoyable outdoor experiences right here in our own back yard. Won't you please come join us.
