Welcome To QU Chapter 148
Riverside County Chapter
California has three native species of quail, California quail, the mountain quail, and the Gambel''s quail. Between the three of them, there is not a county in the state without at least one species. In any location, the basic habitat needs for food, cover(shelter), and water must be met or there will be no quail. With these needs met, the relative size of the population will then depend upon the amount, distribution, and quality of these needed resources. At Riverside QU we do our best to meet the needs of all quail ! We meet the second Thusday of every month at Prado Olympic Shooting Park, 7:00 PM, guests are always welcome.
